The Lair of the Silver Wolf
Silvolf is one of my main original characters and who my art site was named for. I created her back in 2001 on boxing day and the first picture I drew of her was a very sad one. I've always loved canines and wolves so I created Silvolf. I just drew her one day and that was it. The markings on her back, the swirls, they were due to the fact I got bored when trying to give her a pattern and started just drawing swirly things, trying to make it look good and it stuck. I think in the first place they were meant to be tiger stripes but I couldn't draw those so they developed into swirls in 2003. I found that to be unique and it's really become her trademark.
Silvolf's name is a combo of "Silver" and "Wolf".
And I've no idea why I call her the silver wolf of darkness. I just always have and it stuck lol! It's probably due to the gothic/depressive phase I went through in high school. Looking back, I have no idea why I was so depressed then. It was actually quite a good few years. Finally I decided that I didn't want Silvolf to be alone anymore so I did a poll on DeviantArt and asked my friends on Facebook if they could help me decide who she should have as her partner/mate out of three of my other characters. They were Snarl, Skelliss or Vernixx. Skelliss won by a huge vote so now Silvolf isn't alone anymore, she has Skelliss to love and look after her and travel with her too!
